MIC Vietnam has officially released a draft of a new Circular to replace 05 / 2019 / TT-BTTTT.
The new regulations are for the list of radio and ITE products subject to MIC and declaration of conformity, effective from 1 July 2020.
Highlighted features:
– Adding terminal device, base stations, and repeater used in 5th generation of cellular network (5G) to the list.
– Moving wireless inductive loop charger, telemetry instrument, MISC and MITS device, wireless sound devices, UWB and few other SRD to be under mandatory Declaration of Conformity scheme only.
– Removing radar used for maritime mobile services.
– Providing a detailed identification of RFID equipment: RF Tags with or without a power source and RF Reader for activating radio card and receiving card information.
