In February and March, the Ukrainian government issued a resolution enacting a series of technical regulations on eco-design.
This regulation defines a six month trasition period to implement green requirements for the following types of products:
– Power supplies
– Fans
– Power transformers
– Glandless circulators
– Water pumps
– Vacuum cleaners
– Simple set-top boxes
– Electric motors
– Household refrigerating appliances
– Lighting equipment
Beginning in September 2019, manufacturers and importers will need to follow eco-design requirements to supply the above mentioned types of products to the Ukrainian market.
In general, Ukraine’s eco-design requirements are based on relevant EU regulations.
