ESMA released an implementation guideline for audio/video and IT/office equipment classified under the Low Voltage Equipment Regulations of the UAE on October 17, 2019.
This range applies to all audio/video and IT/office equipment classified as Low Voltage Equipment(LVE) designed for purchase and use by end users or consumers for general and non-profit/non-professional purposes.
This includes all products supplied through B2B and B2C commerce.

All products defined in this document must comply with the applicable standards and have a valid CoC issued in accordance with ECAS / EQM.
– 20 December 2020:
All products defined in this document must comply with the IEC 62368-1 standard and have a valid CoC issued in accordance with ECAS / EQM.
All ECAS / EQM CoCs issued in accordance with IEC 60065 and IEC 60950-1 are considered invalid.
Definition: Low Voltage Equipment (LVE) refers to electrical / electronic equipment designed for use at rated voltages of 50 to 1000V for alternating current and 75 to 1500V for direct current.
