On July 26, 2019, ANATEL announced Act 4478(2019), canceling Act 939 (2018).
This new regulation withdraws the technical requirements for conformity assessment for Earth Station Antennas, which no longer require approval in Brazil.
For products requiring licenses such as UHF 400-470 MHz, RFID, and non-RFID 920-925 MHz (output power > 500 mW), manufacturers must include a Type 1 QR code description.
Most SRD products, such as Immobilizer 125kHz, Car key 433.92MHz, Wifi, RFID, NFC, etc., are exempt from licensing, so the manufacturer must include a Type 2 QR code description.
The QR code text must appear on the operating manual and / or package of the wireless communication device or on the form of additional documentation within the package.
The size is specified as 5 x 5 cm.
