NBTC has issued a new standard NBTC TS 1035-2562 wireless communication equipment using 2.4 GHz. This new associate replaces NBTS TS 1012-2551 Broadband Wireless Access (Wireless Local Area Network) wireless communications equipment.

However, certificates issued in accordance with NBTS TS 1012-2551 requirements will not be revoked.

The main changes are related to:

1. New standard versions and new reference standards have been added for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz SRD bands.

– 2.4 GHz: EN 300328 V2.1.1 or FCC Part 15.247 for current.

– 5.150-5.350 GHz and 5.470-5.725 GHz: EN 301 893 V2.1.1 or FCC Part 15.407 is used for current.

– 5.725-5.850 GHz: EN 302502 V2.1.1 or FCC Part 15.247 or 407 is used for current.

Previously, EN 300 440 report could be provided. Now NCB does not accept test reports for this standard, but EN 302 502 V2.1.1 or current only FCC Part 15.247 or 407 is applicable.

2. EIRP is as follows:

Frequency, MHz EIRP output power, Watt Application
2400-2500 0.1 Inndoor
5150-5350 0.2 Indoor
5470-5725 1 Indoor/Outdoor
5725-5850  1 Indoor/Outdoor

– New reference standards ETSI TS 136104 v.13.2.0 and ETSI TS 136101 v.13.2.0 have been added for the LTE frequency band.

– The electrical safety requirements have also been updated.

Reports on the requirements of IEC 62368-1 are acepted. (Previously only TIS 1561-2556 or IEC 60950-1 was allowed)
