MIIT released new regulation No.39, 2019 on October 12, 2019 as follows:
1. There are 6 situations where you can perform SRRC update now.
– The license holder’s information has changed.
– The factory information has changed.
– The quality system of the factory has been changed (for example, production capacity, technical skills, quality assurance system, production line and country of origin).
– Component changes.
– After obtaining the certificate, the model changes before it is actually produced and sold.
– Changes in product-related information resulting from changes in national laws and regulations or wireless management policies.
2. Before, according to Regulation No.1, 2014, we mentioned that the wireless transmitter module for non-independent operation can be built into information technology equipment and home appliance equipment, but there was no detailed product list.
Currently that list is defined. Please refer to the chart below.
3. Products in the list of attached charts can proceed with the fanily approval according to the definition of the ‘family’ principle as follows.
– The use and functionality of the product is the same.
– The appearance and shape of the product is almost identical (E.g. color change, small change in product size and other shape changes do not affect the RF performance of the product)
– Embedded modules (WLAN [including Bluetooth] and public mobile communications (NB-loT, eMTC)) are SRRC certified.
4. The national radio management will strengthen the supervision and inspection of related wireless transmission equipment.
