SDPPI announced Decree No 124 on July 23, 2020.
This allows SDPPI to accept test reports from oversear testing laboratories for telecommunication devices, mobile phones, portable computers and tablet computers. However, this is temporarty and is valid for 6 months.
In addition, only test reports from overseas laboratories and accredited laboratories are permitted.
Decree 16 lists accredited foreign laboratories for telecommunications devices, mobile phones, portable computers and tablet computers, and the llist includes 72 laboratories.
In the following cases, overseas laboratory accreditation may be withdrawn prior to the expiration of the certificate.
– Accreditation status as a test center determined by APAC-MRA or ILAC-MRA as well as international agencies or telecommunications regulaators of other countries were revoked or no longer valid
– Based on the results of the evaluation, the Test Result Report (LHU) or the test report issued by the Overseas Test Center does not comply with the technical requirements that are applicable in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
