The PTA has released the IP Whitelist Regulation. This document is one way to stop the gray telephony.
The regulations apply to all authorized users and subscribers in connection with the registration of IP address data for the use of VOIP.
IP whitelisting rules specify the procedures that users who are authorized to whitelist IP addresses should perform.
Only users and organizations approved by the PTA can apply to the PTAA to include the IP address in the whitelist.
Authorized users should only use the IP address of the whitelist, otherwise commercial voice service will be interrupted and the PTA may also impose additional legal penalties for offenders.
The PTA excludes IP addresses from the list if:
– Any misconduct is found
– Any change related to the assignment of the whitelisted IP coour
– IP operator is delisted
– PSEB call center certificate is expired
