MIC announces Circular 17/2020/TT-BTTTT announcement of new technical regulation QCVN63:2020/BTTTT at the end of August 2020.
QCVN 63:2020/BTTTT applies to digital receiveres used in DVB-T2 digital terrestrial television equipment and specifies the minimum technical requirements for unencrypted digital terrestrial television receiverse (Free To Air-FTA) according to the DVB-T2 standard. To support SDTV and HDTV standards in Vietnam with the following HS codes:
This regulation applies to both standalone receivers (STB) and receivers integrated into TV receivers (iDTV) that support the SDTV/HDTV standard.
The new regulation QCVN 63:2020/BTTTT supersedes QCVN 63:2012/BTTTT and is effective July 1, 2021.
