EAEU has adopted the following regulations regarding the safety requirements of soft lines.

  • EAEU TR 017/2011 Safety of light industrial products
  • EAEU TR 007/2011 on Product Safety for Children and Adolescents
  • Safety of EAEU TR 019/2011 Personal Protective Equipment

However, the scope of these regulations differs and EAEU TR 017/2011 on the safety of light industrial products applies to the following categories of products:

  • Fiber
  • Clothing
  • Machine made carpet & Floor covering
  • Leather goods
  • Felt and nonwoven products
  • Shoes
  • Fur and clothing made of fur
  • Leatherette

EAEU TR 007/2011 with regard to the safety of products for children and young people, the following product categories apply.

  • Care products for children (soothers, bowls, cutlery, hygiene products)
  • Children’s clothing
  • Children’s shoes
  • Strollers and bicycles
  • Children’s book and magazines
  • School stationery

EAEU TR 019/2011 the following applies to the safety of personal protective equipment

  • Personal protective equipment to protect against mechanical influences and general industrial pollution
  • Personal protective equipment to protect harmful chemicals
  • Personal protective equipment to protect against ionizing and non-ionizing radiation
  • Personal protective equipment to protect against the effects of temperature increase or decrease
  • Personal protective equipment to protect against the effects of electric currents, electricity or electromagnetic fields
  • Special clothing for better visibility
  • Complex personal protection measures
  • Means to protect the skin individually
