CNCA issued the announcement No. 11 of 2022 on August 02, 2022, to clarify electronic products and safety accessories compulsory certification based on standard change announcement.
According to the announcement, new standards has replaced old standards as follow:

For GB/T 9254.1, originally the deadline to update the standard on old certificates had been July 01, 2024, but the deadline has been updated to July 31, 2024 so that manufacturers can apply for the update with CB 4943.1 together.
The summary of the implement is as follows:
- New applications which is subject to the standards
- The new standards have been applied from their effective date.
- Old certificates in which the old standards are applied
- When expiry date is before July 31, 2024: the standards will be updated when they are renewed.
- When expiry date is after July 31, 2024: the certificate owner should update the standards before the deadline (July 31, 2024)
