China Quality Certification Center has notified CQC21-020304-2011 “RoHS Certification Rules” amendment.

The three main aspects of the revised rule are:

– The first one concerns the name of Chinese RoHS regulations

– The second is about detection methods for the four phthalates and hexavalent chromium

– The third was made to bring the Chinese RoHS Certification Rules in compliance with the Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 of 31 March 2015 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of restricted substances with regards to the stated transition period requirements

This amendment is not related to valid certificates received prior to July 2020.
