September 2, 2019, Communications Service Proclamation No. 1148/2019 established ECA as the regulatory body responsible for type approval applications.
There was an open meeting on November 12, 2019, and the format approval requirements are not expected to change as a result of this meeting, but future certificates will be issued by ECA, not MINT.
