The Bazilian State Communication Agency and ANATEL recently issued Resolution #715 of October 23, 2019.
This resolution approves the provisions for the conformity assessment and approval of telecommunications products.
Issued on October 25, 2019 and valid after 180 days.
When the rule goes into effect, two resolutions will be withdrawn:
– Resolution No. 242 of November 30, 2000 which approves the Regulation for Certification and Approval of Telecommunication Products
– Resolution No. 323 of November 7, 2002 which approves the Standard for Certification of Telecommunication Products
After April 21, 2020, you can perform a conformity assessment with:
– Declaration of conformity
– Declaration of Conformity with testing
– Type Approval Certification
– Type Approval Certification including periodic product evaluation
– Type Approval Certification including both periodic product evaluation and factory management system audit
The conformity assessment scheme is defined by ANATEL in technical requirements and may vary by product type.
