ENACOM released resolution 1134/2023, where expanded the band allocation for radars – level probing radars are now allowed on 76-81 GHz band.

  • Level probing radars are allowed on 76-81 GHz band
    • Max EIRP:
      • Average: -3 dBm in 1 MHz
      • Peak: +34 dBm in 50 Mhz
    • Max Equivalent Electric Field Intensity allowed:
      • Average: 92,26 dBμV/m @ 3m. RBW: 1 MHz
      • Peak: 129, 26 dBμV/m @ 3m. RBW: 50 MHz
  • Enforcement date is date of publication: August 18th, 2023
  • Foreign reports are accepted as long as they comply with limit established on technical standard ENACOM-Q2-64.02 V22.1
  • ENACOM DoC is requested. It must include:
    • Manufacturer name and address or importer in Argentina
    • Product description (brand, model, etc)
    • Declaration of compliance to standard ENACOM-Q2-64.02 V22.1
    • Signatory identification (name, surname, position)
    • Date
