BSMI had announced on Feb 22, 2022, that IT/AV devices standard CNS15936 (EMC) and CNS 15598-1 (Safety) had started to be effective.
Equivalent standards information of each CNS standards are as follows:
Existing certificates with current standards are valid until their expire dates, and current standards could be used to extend their validity until 31/DEC/2023.
From 01/JAN/2024, the new CNS standards become mandatory for RPC & Type Approval, which means that all new certificate applications should follow the new CNS standards, while the enforcement date for DoC scheme is 01/JAN/2025.
