With the development of 5G technology, the production of devices that can operate in 5G is gradually increasing, and accordingly, ANATEL has prepared technical requirements for the devices.
In June 2020, ANATEL published three laws with minimum requirements related to the quality, safety, compability and protection of the radio spectrum applied to devices operating on 5G.
It concerns Transceivers for Terminal Stations, Mobile Cellular Phones (communication product category I) and Radio Base Stations (communication product category II). In other words,
– Act 3151 “On technical requirements for confirmity assessment procedure of Terminal Station access point”
– Act 3152 “On technical requirements for conformity assessment procedure of Mobile Cellular Phone”
– Act 3153 “On technical requirements for conformity assessment procedure of Trasceiver for Radio Base Station”
This is already included in the list of technical certification requirements and is mandatory.
