On July 21 of 2023, the order “The Bolts, Nuts and Fasteners (Quality Control) Order, 2023” has been issued.
Those as follows are exempted from the order.
- Those imported as a part of any finished good or sub-assembly or components
- Those imported by domestic manufacturer for manufacturing products for export
The new order shall come into force with effect from 6 months from the date of publication – January 21 of 2024.
